Prices

We have flat rates for hauling vehicles to and from Homer and the following locations:

Jackolof (If the tide is sufficient and the vehicle has 4-wheel drive) $500

Seldovia $600

NanWalek (This is weather and tide dependent) $1300

Port Graham (This is weather dependent) $1200

For freight and vehicles to other locations we charge $350 an hour which includes the time needed to load and unload and the time to return the boat to Homer (there is a 2-hour minimum). If we use the Fish Dock cranes in Homer to load, we bill those charges to the client. Please call 907-350-2578 with any questions.

Vessel Description

The Sandy C is 12 feet wide and 47 feet long, her cargo deck is 23 feet long, the bow gate can accommodate loads up to nine feet wide, and she can carry up to 12,000 pounds. She has a deck crane that can handle loads up to 500 pounds and reach beyond the bow of the boat.

Service Locations

We are based in Homer and can easily haul vehicles or freight to Tutka Bay, Sadie Cove, Halibut Cove, Bear Cove, China Poot, Jackolof Bay, Kasitsna Bay, Seldovia, Port Graham, Nanwalek, and the surrounding areas in Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet.

Scheduling and Availability

We are available most weekdays and weekends. A number of variables will affect our ability to deliver your freight including your location, the condition of your beach (steep, shallow, muddy, rocky, sandy etc..), the size of the tides when you want your freight moved, and of course the weather.
